Laboratory of Complex Networks

The Complex Networks Laboratory was established at the end of 2022. The main areas of work of the laboratory are

  • Application of network theory methods to biological systems. In particular, the use of network theory methods to analyze structural, functional and cognitive networks of the brain, transcriptome, lipidome
  • Application of complex network theory methods to multiparticle systems in condensed matter physics In particular, the study of localization, synchronization, phase transitions in systems with a non-trivial internal structure
  • Application of network theory to solving problems related to the analysis of large arrays of real data
  • Development of network theory and big data analysis methods using approaches developed in statistical physics

The emphasis in the laboratory is on the study of elements and connections in complex networks of different nature, generative models of their emergence and growth, the main processes occurring in networks of different nature.
